the cave

I consistently humanize objects but I have never thought to objectify humans. Now that I have, I don’t find it difficult to turn the stream the other way; as since I feel an affinity towards the objective world so strongly it does not seem an insult to be identified among them. Further even, the idea of an objectified body clarified previously confused experiences. The cave uses this idea of objectifying body to explore and embrace the powerlessness that comes from chronic illness. Identifying the mouth and tounge as a space of mystery and disconect within the body I identify it as platos cave and as such explore what it means to have any part of a body in an unobjective reality.
